Comments: This French
candy tin was originally made by "Carnaud" in 1925 for "La
Pierrette" bonbons to resemble the famous French building the
"Arc de Triomphe".
The monument is in Paris in the Place Charles de Gaulle at the end
of the Champs-Elysees, it is 165 feet tall and was inspired by the
Roman "Arch of Titus". It was commissioned in 1806 after the
French victory at Austerlitz by Napoleon I.
