| Comments: These chocolate
dispensing machines were popular around 1900. This model is
unbranded but it is normally marked "Stollwerck", the other
major brands producing these banks were "Hartwig & Vogels",
"Nestle" and "Droste". To receive your miniature bar
of chocolate you simply place a small coin in the slot at the top,
which releases the drawer and then you just pull it open. The
machine is decorated with a red and blue "Art Nouveau" design,
with nine different shadowgraphs featured on the front and sides. It
is in good condition, but it is missing the rear sheet of glass.
