| Comments: This "Custard Creams"
sample biscuit tin was made for the small company of "Bee Bee
Biscuits Ltd." of Blackpool. The company was established in 1922 as
"Blackpool Biscuits", was renamed in 1929 as "Bee Bee Biscuits" and
in the early 1930's they were brought up by "J Lyons". The
decoration on the tin includes bees and blossom, the former being an
obvious play on the company's name. It has a slot in the lift off
lid enabling it to used as a money box or bank. The tin is in good
condition, however one side appears to be faded. To view other images
