Comments:    This tin originally contained 50 gold tipped cigarettes and was manufactured in Germany around 1910. The "Gibson Girl" was a well known image of an attractive Edwardian girl, with a tiny waist, ample bosom, hair on top, haughty and having a very pretty little face. She was created by the illustrator Charles Gibson and was much admired by men and the look was eagerly copied by the women of the time!
