tin originally contained 50 gold tipped cigarettes and was manufactured in
Germany around 1910. The "Gibson Girl" was a well known image
of an attractive Edwardian girl, with a tiny waist, ample bosom, hair on top,
haughty and having a very pretty little face. She was created by the illustrator
Charles Gibson and was much admired by men and the look was eagerly
