Comments: This rare British
candy tin was produced for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897
for "Callard and Bowser". It has two pictures of the Queen,
one as a young girl in 1837 and the other as an old woman in 1897.
The background shows a map of the British Commonwealth at the time,
which was the largest empire ever known covering nearly a quarter of
the Earth's land area and including about a quarter of the world's
population.
On the 22nd September 1896 she became the longest serving British
monarch and she eventually reigned for 63 years, seven months and
