Comments: This clever biscuit
tin was manufactured by "Barringer, Wallis and Manners" in
1914 for "Huntley and Palmer". The tin is litho printed with
four different scenes of classical looking ladies using a hand
mirror while relaxing in their boudoirs. The lift off lid is copper
with an embossed design incorporating a winged cherub and fitted
with a mirror. The lid is quite clever, you turn it over, unfold the wire
handle on the back and rotate the toggle and hey presto you have a
hand mirror!
An unusual tin in very good condition.
