Comments: This Victorian biscuit
tin was made in 1900 for "Peek Frean" in the form of a
horseshoe and is litho printed with embossing. The tin is in good
condition with a hinged lid.
The company was established in Bermondsey in South East London in
1857, an important year, The Indian Mutiny, the birth of Robert
Baden Powell, Edward Elgar, William Howard Taft, Milton Hershey and
Heinrich Hertz, to name just a few!
