| Comments: This charming little
pail was manufactured around 1920 by "Canco" for
"Lovell and Covel" of Boston, to hold 3 ounces of "Pure Hard
Candies". It tells the story of "Peter Cottontail" in
four colourful, nicely detailed pictures.
"The kitchen door was open and in a Bunny ran",
"He spied a batch of Candy a cooling in a pan", "One look was quite
enough for Peter Cottontail" and "So what his tummy couldn't hold he
put into this pail".
