| Comments: James and
Alfred Pascall set up their sweet company in 1866 and were
particularly famous for their boiled sweets. This rare and
interesting tin features a typical "Punch and Judy" glove
puppet theatre and was made around 1930. The tradition of Punch and
Judy was first recorded in England by the famous diarist Samuel
Pepys near St. Pauls in London in 1662.
