Comments: Sir Harry Lauder (1870 - 1950) was a very famous Scottish entertainer and a robust patriot. He toured America 22 times." Drummond" of Greenock manufactured this tin for "Macpherson" around 1930 and it's lift off lid is decorated with the Macpherson dress tartan. The lid has a picture of Sir Harry Lauder on it and it proclaims that their shortbread is Sir Harry's favourite!  The tin is in good condition with a small amount of tape residue on the plain metal bottom half.
