Comments: The metal matchbox cover has a picture of the factory in Bow, London and was produced around 1890; after the famous match girl's strike. The cover proclaims that the patent safety matches "Are Not Poisonous" and also are "Harmless to those employed in the manufacture". The original matchbox is broken and is in three pieces.
