Comments: "Huntley and
Palmer" made three tins in this form, however each one had
different decoration. This tin "Log" was manufactured by "Huntley,
Boorne and Stevens" in 1902 to look like a section of wood and
they made 125,000. The embossed wallet is decorated with two
stalking green lizards, with their long narrow tongues protruding,
trying to capture some bugs! There are also some ladybugs,
butterflies and a dragonfly. They changed the cardboard handle on
the earlier version "Canteen" to a more sturdier metal one on
this tin. This is the most attractive of the trio.
