Comments: "Huntley and Palmer" made three tins in this form, however each one had different decoration. This tin "Log" was manufactured by "Huntley, Boorne and Stevens" in 1902 to look like a section of wood and they made 125,000. The embossed wallet is decorated with two stalking green lizards, with their long narrow tongues protruding, trying to capture some bugs! There are also some ladybugs, butterflies and a dragonfly. They changed the cardboard handle on the earlier version "Canteen" to a more sturdier metal one on this tin. This is the most attractive of the trio.
Compare to the other two earlier versions:
h118 "Canteen"  and  h723 "Wallet".
