Comments: This
yellow box originally contained a black copying purple
ribbon, which cost $1. It was made by "Mersereau Mfg Co Boxes" of
Brooklyn, New York. The Arms factory was only producing typewriters
for a short time, and by 1883 "Wyckoff, Seamans & Benedict" had sole
distribution rights, sole manufacturing rights by 1886 and the right
to use the "Remington" name.
