Comments and other images: The tin
was made around 1930 in Italy for "King Bull Ltd." of London
at a time when this type of medication was very popular. It proudly
proclaims "Kinglax the ideal chocolate laxative" ,"You
need it" and "Gives everybody a happy disposition"!
Inside the hinged lid are the instructions for the various doses for
children and adults. The tin originally contained 24 "K.B."
stamped chocolate bon-bons each containing 15 grains of C20H14O4;
probably better known as phenolphthalein.To
