| Comments: "Van der
Straeten-Bievelez" produced the "Ballons de Tournai" to
"Contre La Toux" around 1910 in Brussels, Belgium. The
balloons contained a secret herbal remedy to fight coughs, flu,
asthma, bronchitis and colds, when added to hot milk. The
illustration on the hinged lid shows a caricatured black man holding
a red balloon, sitting in front of the Brussels skyline.
