Comments: This Dutch tin is very
similar to DH76; see photo3, the same composition but the drawing's
detail is different. The red tin has a hinged lid and is in
excellent condition.
In 1863 Gerardus Johannes Droste started his confectionery business
in the Dutch town of Haarlem. He opened his first factory in 1890
and by 1891 he was producing chocolate from the raw materials being
