| Comments: This set of six
tins show how the "Dr. Edwards'" tin evolved graphically with
time, from the early swastika trademark to the picture of a man's
head. Surprisingly over this period of time the price remained
virtually unchanged, being 100 tablets for 60 cents on five of the
tins and increasing to 75 for 60 cents on the sixth. "The Olive
tablet Co." was based in Columbus, Ohio and is still
manufacturing this product today. These tins are from the 1920's and
1930's, were never used and are in good condition. The tins proudly
state "Taken at bed time should cause the bowels to act nicely
next morning". To view other images
