small tin was produced by "Reckitt & Colman Ltd" for their
"Brasso"
metal polish; size D. The tin states "By Appointment to King
George V", so it probably dates from around 1920. The
instantly recognizable sunburst
design made it the best known metal
polish around the globe. The brand was initially launched in 1905 and has
now become a design classic!
