small tin was produced by "Reckitt & Colman Ltd" for their
"Brasso"
metal polish. The tin states "By Appointment Suppliers of
Metal Polish to the Late King George VI", so it probably dates
from around 1952. The sunburst design is instantly recognizable,
making it the best known metal polish around the globe. The brand
was launched in 1905.
