book of unused matches was manufactured by
"The Anchor Packing Co." around 1940. They
were used to promote the sale of American
War Bonds and feature such patriotic slogans
as, "Match em- Bond for Bomb" and
"Strike at the seat of trouble". The back
of the matches have an image of Hitler
greedily clasping the globe with both hands.
You strike the matches on the rear of his
breeches, where the abrasive striker surface
is located. The matches are interesting, as
each one is shaped like a bomb with a red,
