This tin was produced for the coronation of
"King George VI" in 1937 by "Huntley and Palmer".
It has an interesting selection of images
around it's circumference, including
pictures of the two princesses "Margaret Rose"
and "Elizabeth"; the present "Queen Elizabeth
II". It also shows the royal
residences of Buckingham Palace and Windsor
Castle, and modern achievements of the time, such as
land speed record car "Bluebird", the
modern liner "RMS Queen Mary" and the
"British Broadcasting Corporation".
