| Comments: The interesting
sign is visually constructed from a montage of five postcard looking
images, illustrated by famous British artist "Lawson Wood"
(1878-1957), printed in Brussels by "J De Greve" in 1931 and
is in excellent condition. "Lawson Wood" uses teddy bears,
for the most part, to promote seven products produced by this
company, which include macaroni, custard powder, oats and soap
powder. The custard powder and oats boxes were designed by
another famous and illustrator, namely "Leonetto Cappiello"
(1875-1942). The sign is constructed of
thick cardboard, designed to be hung on the wall and is in
excellent, unused condition.
