| Comments: The "Charrington's" brewery was opened
in 1738 and the "Toby Jug" was
their trademark. When this tin sign was produced
in the 1950's by "The Metal Box Co. Ltd (Hackney Branch)", the
brewery was still in the Mile End Road ,
