Comments: The front of
this cardboard menu advertises the Swiss chocolate brand of
"Suchard", it is in English, French and German. The menu
features "Velma" delicious for eating only, "Milka"
pure and delicious, full-cream chocolate and "Chocolat" no
better for cooking.
The reverse is a menu is handwritten in French, dated 16th August
1903 for the Hotel Stadthof in Zurich and features such dishes as
Rhone salmon and roasted duck.
The other half of the menu is a detachable postcard advertising
"Chocolat aux Noisettes", with a colourful alpine scene and the
